These are the ground rules for using Bryn. I've kept them as short and human as possible.
Beta software
Bryn is currently in beta. Things might break, change, or disappear. We're building fast and shipping often. The app is provided as-is — we do our best, but we can't guarantee everything will work perfectly all the time.
Not medical advice
Bryn provides nutrition data for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice. Don't use it to make medical decisions. If you have dietary concerns or health conditions, talk to a doctor or registered dietitian — not an app.
Accuracy
We pull data from trusted sources like the USDA and Open Food Facts, but we can't warrant that every macro estimate is 100% accurate. Food varies — a chicken breast from your store isn't identical to the one in the lab. Use the numbers as a guide, not gospel.
Your data
You own your data. Your food logs, your preferences, your account info — it's yours. We don't sell it, share it, or use it for advertising. You can export or delete everything at any time.
Don't abuse the service
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that abuse the service — spam, automated scraping, harassment, or anything that degrades the experience for others. We'll warn you first if we can.
Limitation of liability
Bryn is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app. Use it at your own discretion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction applicable to the service provider.
Changes
We may update these terms as Bryn evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
